set smartgit with github

set ssh key

# check your file ssh

$ ls -al ~/.ssh

# cannot find and id_rsa file ? lets generate it

# generate key

$ cd ~/.ssh

$  ssh-keygen -t rsa -C ""
Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase): [Type a passphrase]
Enter same passphrase again: [Type passphrase again]

# add ssh
$ ssh-add id_rsa

– open file with text editor

– copy

 add ssh key to github

– login to github

– add your ssh

– save

test to server github

# do ssh

$ ssh -T

The authenticity of host ' (' can't be established.
RSA key fingerprint is xxxxx.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes
Warning: Permanently added ',' (RSA) to the list of known hosts.
Hi g3n1k! You've successfully authenticated, but GitHub does not provide shell access.


set smartgit

download from

it will recognize your key

in Project > Clone >

input your git url to remote
